Academic calendar course 2016-2017

The Governing Council of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, in its session on February 17, Calendario Académico curso 2016-20172016, agrees to approve the ULPGC Academic Calendar for the 2016 – 2017 academic year, which is inserted below:
The academic calendar for the 2016/2017 academic year is detailed in all the official degrees taught by the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. As can be seen, 5 calendars are presented that, although they affect different teaching arrangements, try to maintain a structure that is as homogeneous as possible.
As in the previous year, in all of them, the official inauguration of the academic year is separated from the beginning of the same, being able to count the first week as school in its entirety. In addition, a total number of 40 weeks per academic year is proposed between class periods (30 weeks) and periods corresponding to exams or evaluation (10 weeks), thus complying with the provisions of both article 4.4 of Royal Decree 1125/2003 and in Article 3 of the Regulations for the Preparation of Official Titles of
our university.
The date of deliveries of Minutes, included in this document, is understood as the deadline for signing them in order to continue the administrative process of both regular and extensive registration.
gives. It is recalled that through the Electronic Headquarters of the ULPGC it is possible to sign the minutes electronically, provided that you have an Electronic DNI or another Digital Certificate included in the
list of certificates accepted in this Electronic Office.
The calendar of the current Teletraining Structure is also presented, which affects all official non-face-to-face teaching at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Like the previous year, an attempt has been made to make its calendar as similar as possible to that of On-site Degrees.
In the case of titles that are taught outside the national Territory, their calendar must be specified, which must be approved by the Official and Own Titles Commission (CTOP) at the time of approval of the title, and made public before enrollment.
